Case Study: Partners Spring Benefit

Helping Partners Inspire Support for Survivors of Domestic and Sexual Violence

Partners for Women and Justice provides free legal assistance, advocacy, and support for survivors of domestic violence, sexual violence, and family law matters. For more than two decades, Partners has helped thousands of survivors pursue safety, stability, and justice.

For its 2026 Spring Benefit, Partners needed a strategic communications campaign that would do more than promote an event. The campaign needed to tell the organization’s story, honor community leaders, drive ticket sales and sponsorships, increase awareness, and inspire donors to support life-changing legal services for survivors.

Do Good Marketing partnered with Partners to develop and execute an integrated marketing plan for the Victory Over Violence Spring Benefit, held May 6, 2026, at Glen Ridge Country Club. The event brought together supporters, advocates, and community leaders in support of survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

The Challenge

Fundraising events require consistent, coordinated communication across multiple audiences. Partners needed to reach past supporters, prospective sponsors, donors, board members, community advocates, and new friends of the organization with a clear and compelling message.

The challenge was to build momentum over time, communicate the mission’s urgency, highlight honorees and sponsors, and make it easy for people to purchase tickets, become sponsors, or donate.

The campaign also needed to reflect the sensitivity and importance of Partners’ mission while creating excitement around an evening of celebration, music, and meaningful impact.

Our Solution

Do Good Marketing created and executed a comprehensive Spring Benefit marketing campaign across email, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and the event website.

Our work included:

  • Campaign strategy and communications planning
  • Event messaging and promotional copy
  • Email campaign writing and execution
  • Social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Honoree and sponsor recognition content
  • Ticket, sponsorship, and donation messaging
  • Countdown and reminder communications
  • Mission-centered storytelling to connect the event to survivor impact

The campaign positioned the Spring Benefit as more than a fundraising event. It presented the evening as an opportunity for the community to stand with survivors, support access to justice, and help Partners continue providing critical legal advocacy.

The Results

The campaign helped Partners build awareness, strengthen event visibility, and drive participation across multiple channels.

The Spring Benefit was promoted as an inspiring evening in support of survivors of domestic and sexual violence, with clear calls to purchase tickets, become a sponsor, or donate. Public event materials highlighted the May 6, 2026 benefit at Glen Ridge Country Club and emphasized the direct connection between community support and Partners’ mission.

Social media helped extend the campaign’s reach, with Partners promoting the event across Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to engage supporters and community leaders. Public LinkedIn and Facebook event posts emphasized that every ticket helped provide free legal services and advocacy to survivors seeking protection and justice.

The campaign also elevated the event’s honorees, including Hon. Carolyn Murray, Robert Baran, and Denise Rodriguez, helping connect the evening to leadership, justice, and advocacy in the community.

Client Success

For Partners, the Spring Benefit campaign created a stronger, more consistent public presence and helped ensure the event was supported by a clear message, coordinated outreach, and compelling calls to action.

Why It Matters

Successful nonprofit events depend on more than logistics. They require a thoughtful communications strategy that connects the mission to the moment.

For Partners, the Spring Benefit was an opportunity to raise funds, recognize leaders, thank sponsors, and remind the community why free legal services matter for survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

Do Good Marketing helped turn that opportunity into a coordinated campaign that informed, inspired, and moved people to act.
